Healing in the Ring is a trauma-informed boxing and therapy program for teen survivors of trauma, in grades 9-12, who are interested in combining physical activity with healing.

About the Program
Healing in the Ring is a group therapy experience that integrates trauma-focused care with physical movement in a supportive, culturally responsive environment. Teens will gain skills to manage emotions, build trust, and foster resilience — all while boxing!
To be considered for participation, teens must meet the criteria below:

Boys in grades 9-12

Have a history of trauma

Express interest in group therapy and a physical movement-based healing program
A list of clinical criteria is available upon request.

Please complete our detailed referral form to help us ensure the teen is a good fit for this program and receives the support they need.

2. Pre-Screen Form (for Caregivers)
After submitting the referral form, please have the youth's caregiver or guardian complete the pre-screen form. You may:

Reminders
Spots are limited – please submit referrals and pre-screens as early as possible.
Once both forms are received, our team will contact the family to schedule a virtual intake with a therapist.
If the caregiver is Spanish-speaking, we may follow up with you to assist in communication.
