Support for Caregivers
When a child experiences sexual abuse, the entire family is impacted. As a parent, guardian, or caregiver, you may feel heartbroken, confused, protective, or unsure how best to help. At Teens With Trauma, we recognize that healing doesn't happen in isolation - and that caregivers play an essential role in the recovery process.
Whether you're navigating a new disclosure, trying to understand trauma responses, or simply seeking ways to show up for your child, we're here to walk alongside you.
You are not alone and your support can make all the difference.

How We Support Caregivers

We offer free virtual Information & Support Sessions created specifically for parents and caregivers of youth survivors of sexual abuse. Led by trauma-informed clinicians, these sessions are a safe, confidential space to:
-
Learn how trauma affects youth development and behavior
-
Understand common responses to sexual abuse
-
Explore practical ways to support your child's healing
-
Ask questions in a judgment-free environment
-
Connect with other caregivers who get it
Can't Make the Live Dates?

Watch our on-demand recordings. (Coming soon!)
We understand it's not always possible to join live - that's why we've created pre-recorded versions of our Information & Support Sessions in both English and Spanish. These recordings cover the same content as our live events while protecting privacy.
Recordings are added as soon as they become available.
While we encourage caregivers to attend live for the chance to connect, ask questions, and engage in real time, these videos are here whenever you need them.
