The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys experience sexual abuse or assault at some point during adolescence.

The heartbreaking reality is that someone you know, perhaps even yourself, could have been a survivor of teen sexual abuse. It is not uncommon for this traumatic experience to go undisclosed, shrouded in shame, fear and confusion. The effects of this trauma can be profound, leading to long-term physical, emotional, and psychological consequences.

At Teens With Trauma, we believe that every young person has the right to receive high-quality mental health care, especially those who have survived the trauma of sexual abuse. Sadly, for many teenagers from low income, uninsured or underinsured families, this kind of care is out of reach. That is where we come in.

With your support, we provide teen survivors with therapy from a trauma-trained therapist, providing them with the tools they need to move forward with strength and resilience.
